American Black Walnut

The client requested a nest of tables that would combine a traditional aesthetic with a contemporary form that would compliment their existing furniture and provide a focal point within the room. Made from American Black Walnut, the Sap-wood has been used to contrast the rich tones of the wood, with the twisted profile repeated for each table.

Wenge, Rippled Sycamore, Leather & Silver Leaf

Produced as a Birthday gift, the client requested design elements from previous Coane+Co boxes. This one-off jewellery box has subtle silver chamfers & dark graphic Wenge exterior that contrasts with the vivid leather lined interior and deep rippled-Sycamore insert.  

Ebonised Oak, Copper & Leather

An elegant and unusual desk, the ebonised wood, asymmetric shape and copper-lined draw make this truly unique. The writing pad is classic leather and the push-to-open drawer maintains the clean aesthetic.

European Oak, Cork

Designed to replace the client's existing unit, the House TV Cabinet serves as a functional TV stand and storage cabinet.

Wenge, Velvet & Sprayed Aluminium

Complementary jewellery boxes, designed as special Christmas presents for two women in the same family. The boxes are mirror images of each other, the sprayed aluminium chamfer giving them a distinctive asymmetric finish.

Birch Plywood

Designed to compliment the modern interior of the client's home, this Sideboard was created to provide ample storage within a stylish form for a client who desired practicality and style in equal measure.

British Ash, American Black Walnut, Cork

The brief was to produce a cohesive design for a hallway bookcase replacing the previous mixture of units that resided in the space.

This design offers storage for books, shoes, coats, dog leads, a place to sit whilst putting on or taking off their shoes and drawers to hold whatever is needed before they leave the house.

Cherry, Rippled Sycamore, Ash Cluster Burr, Brass

This pair of jewellery boxes was designed for two beloved aunties. A future heirloom with subtle curves, elegant finish and a complementary combination of materials.

Rippled Sycamore & Sapele Legs

A pair of bedside tables with soft-close drawers. A simple but striking design; the cut-away corner acts as handle. The red interior adds a vibrant touch.

Oak & sprayed/stained doors

Cabinet 1 was designed to fit an alcove in the client’s spare room, and to provide maximum storage within the space. The client had seen a number of cabinets on the high street, but none of these satisfied their needs for storage and finish.

Cabinet 2 resulted from a second client seeing the design for Cabinet 1, and requesting the same storage capacity with a different finish.

The cabinet carcasses are identical, but the tri-colour doors for Cabinet 1 are sprayed with a satin finish, while the doors for Cabinet 2 are stained red to accentuate the crown-cut oak grain.

Built to replace a freestanding unit in the client's sunroom, the bookcase was designed to be a focal point of the room whilst providing ample storage.
